Education for Disciples of all ages

Our church school program will soon be moving to a time concurrent with our 10:30 worship service on the first Sunday in Lent, March 13th. Each Sunday, we will all gather in the sanctuary for the first ten minutes of worship. Young people will be able to attend classes right after the children's sermon.

Our classes are divided into preschool, early elementary and middle school classes. 

In this season of Epiphany, we have been discussing the role of biblical stories that can enlighten our faith. Stories in worship in February will be: Loaves and Fishes on Feb. 6th and the creation stories on Feb. 13.

 Backpack program

Our church supports and administers the Backpack program for Crete elementary schools. We work with the Lincoln Food Bank to provide a weekend's worth of food for families on the free lunch program in the public schools. If you would like to donate to this program, or get involved in any way, contact the church office.

Fellowship in the church

We enjoy each others company in a related manner before and after our 10:30 service.

We also offer last Sunday potluck meals every month. These meals feature a provided main dish served by our table fellowship group. You are invited to bring a dish to share. There will be activities fr children in which to participate .
